Tax Credits: Benefits and Credits Consultation Group
BCCG is a forum hosted by HMRC to discuss tax credits, child benefit, guardian’s allowance and health in pregnancy grants with representatives.
The Group provides:
- A forum to discuss current issues relating to HMRC Benefits & Credits, including tax credits, child benefit and health in pregnancy grants.
- A channel for information and comment on operational development and problems and their impact on customers
- A channel for comment on communication plans, products and advice on reaching particular audiences
- A sounding board on proposed policy development to inform both Ministers and Officials.
The group meets bi-monthly and the minutes are published after each meeting on the HMRC website. We have provided links to them below.
Representatives have the opportunity to raise various issues and questions with HMRC through the group. We will be publishing the information received from HMRC in response as well as information about issues that have been raised under the inside track section of our website.
